FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER: Through Xepo's lens

In Sochi, I had the pleasure of getting to know Xepo, the fantastic freelance photographer working for my company at the Winter Games. A kind soul, Xepo's passion for his craft is apparent when he works. Watching him live in action you can sense what it means to him to capture something simple and turn it into a never-ending moment packed with meaning. His energy? Infectious.

Dedication? Unwavering.

Sense of humour? Side-splitting.

Photography skills? Level gazillion.

With his permission I've collected a few of Xepo's photographs and posted them below. What I love about these images is how they encapsulate the national pride of spectators at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. More than that, they're a symbol of what the Olympic Games are known to do - bring the citizens of the world together, in one city, border-free and bonded by a shared enthusiasm for sport.

For an ocular adventure from the comfort of your own device, check out Xepo's portfolio and tumblr and see what he has on his many, many adventures.
